“Europe’s New AI Act:
What does it mean for Europe and the United States?”

The European Parliament just passed the AI Act, which forms the world's first legal framework for artificial
intelligence and also applies to U.S. providers if they offer AI systems in the European Union. What exactly
does the AI Act regulate? What impact is it expected to have on providers and users in the United States
and Europe, and what consequences does the new European legal framework have for investments and
transactions in the tech sector?
