EURid, the registry for the .eu domain name, invites you to “European Voices for the Future of the Internet”, where we celebrate 20 years of .eu and the beginning of a new era in internet governance. The two-day conference takes place on 26–27 May in Brussels.
Digital sovereignty, the resilience of our infrastructure, and global internet governance have moved higher on the agenda of all those who use and shape the internet.
This event is uniquely combined with EuroDIG, a forum where policymakers, industry leaders, and experts come together to make their voices heard in shaping Europe’s position on these issues.
Join us from Tuesday, 26 May, for a discussion on strategic autonomy across our digital supply chains, featuring leading European innovators in space, chips, and nuclear fusion, including:
- Prof. Tommaso Calarco, a leading quantum scientist and adviser to the European Commission, who will outline how quantum technologies will affect encryption, cybersecurity, and communications
- A keynote address by European Commission Executive Vice President Henna Virkkunen
