Workshop: DNS for Internet Service Providers
eco – Association of the Internet Industry & ICANN – Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers
invite you to the Workshop: DNS for Internet Service Providers.
DNS for ISPs is a fairly intense two-hour course covering the most important elements of DNS typically handled by network operators, including:
- Open vs. Closed Resolvers
- DNSSEC Validation
- DoH and DoT
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- RPKI (Routing security) and DNS Operations
- Reverse DNS
The course assumes an intermediate level of fluency in network engineering and monitoring, and includes some configuration snippets for widely-available software packages. At the same time, the purpose of the course is not to teach exactly how to configure and monitor elements. Instead, the purpose of the course is to explain the relevance and importance of these topics, and do so in a context that network engineers understand.
For this webinar session the ICANN Expected Standards of Behavior apply.
