„Schutz vor Onlinebetrug“ lautet das Motto der dritten Woche des European Cyber Security Month im Oktober 2018. Der eco Verband gibt sechs Tipps, wie sich Unternehmen und Bürger schützen und bietet eine Anlaufstelle gegen rechtswidrige Inhalte im Internet.

SIWECOS hat über 1.100 Webseiten kleiner und mittelständischer Unternehmen hinsichtlich Sicherheitslücken untersucht und stellt fest: Rund jede zehnte Website hat eklatante Sicherheitsmängel. Es besteht akuter Handlungsbedarf seitens der Webseiten-Betreiber.

Der jüngste BSI-Lagebericht zeigt: Unerwünschtes Crypto-Mining nimmt zu. Immer mehr Internetnutzer erzeugen beim Besuch einer Webseite wissentlich oder unwissentlich Crypto-Währungen für Dritte. Der eco Verband informiert, wie sich Unternehmen und Bürger davor schützen.

Mit fortschreitender Digitalisierung betrieblicher Prozesse benötigen Mitarbeiter auch das Know-how, die neuen Technologien sicher zu nutzen. „Qualifizierte Mitarbeiter sind eine Voraussetzung für IT-Sicherheit und damit für die erfolgreiche Digitalisierung eines Unternehmens“, sagt Lucia Falkenberg, Chief People Officer im eco – Verband der Internetwirtschaft e. V. und gibt fünf Tipps.

Weniger als die Hälfte der befragten kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen (42 Prozent) glaubt, ihr Internetauftritt sei sicher oder sogar sehr sicher. Jedes zweite Unternehmen hält die eigene Website nur für teilweise sicher (39 Prozent) beziehungsweise sogar für unsicher (11 Prozent).

Für den sogenannten Basisschutz will das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) jetzt im Rahmen des European Cyber Security Month (https://cybersecuritymonth.eu) mehr Bewusstsein wecken. Der eco – Verband der Internetwirtschaft e. V. gibt fünf praktische Tipps für mehr IT-Sicherheit im Büro.
